I went here to service my 2018 Crosstrek on 11/15/2025 and 07/15/2026. At my 11/15/2025 visit, I was told that everything looked great except the tires, which were getting worn and needed replacement, so I did that. Then 8 months later, they suddenly recommended $6,359 worth of services items, many of which "Require Immediate Attention". One of the items they said must be replaced immediately was the brake linings, which were literally in the "Green" status just 8 months ago. So either the technician from back then was utterly negligent, or this most recent team was completely crooked, or both. Either way, they have definitely lost my trust. I tried to contact the service manager, Dan Graziano, for an explanation. He promised to "look into things" and then never got back to me. This was over a week ago.
STELLAR customer service from the first phone call, reviewing the options, completing financials, until I drove away. Due to an unfortunate rodent army my beloved Crosstrek was on life support. With a nationwide backlog on parts I was destined to put my mountain adventures on hold until Rich V and the rest of the Peninsula Subaru staff were able to facilitate purchase of a replacement. Everyone was extremely helpful and patient with my questions. I had talked to other dealerships who didn’t want to be bothered. My experience at Peninsula was the exact opposite. Well worth the drive!
The employees at Peninsula conducted themselves very professionally. Richard, Joe, and DJ made this purchasing experience go smoothly. We talked about price and they worked with me and applied a discount. With the discount applied I felt we had reached a fair number for the vehicle. I am enjoying driving my new WRX!
