In 1997, the Langstons made the decision to move to Europe so their son Grant could chase the World MX Championship. Friends and fellow racers asked the Langstons to source hard-to-find parts and ship them to S.A. It was not long before Gerald Langston approached Hans De Beer to be his partner and Langston Racing Imports and Distribution was born. Today the name has changed to www.langstonmotorsports.com and now carries many of the major manufacturers in the Motocross, ATV, and SXS industries.   • I was bikeless for 3 years and was finally able to purchase a 2016 GSXR 750 privately. (Super clean, so I thought.) I needed both front/rear tires, an inspection, screws that were missed, and a few other parts that needed attention. Having been to Langston in the past for service, I trusted them with servicing my less-than-a-day-old bike purchase. I was partnered up with West, the service associate, who IMMEDIATELY connected with me with his transparency, personality, and frequent updates on my bike throughout the day. I had time to kill, so I stayed in the store waiting for service. Even though there was a snack machine in the building, they provided me with 2 water bottles during my wait time. At one point, West introduced me to the technician (name: Midnight) working on my bike. Midnight put so much thought and care into my bike as if it was his own. West, Midnight, and the entire crew there today were incredibly hospitable, and I’ll probably get my servicing done here from now on!
