I bought a car about a month ago, the first week the dashboard light came on, checking, so I went to the dealer, they automatically scanned the car and turned off the light, the second week went by, the light came back on, and I noticed that the car was not moving very well, I went back to the dealer and they paid my electricity bill again and they told me that everything was fine, they changed a valve that goes under the car and they told me that was what made the light come on, I was calm and I left three weeks after changing the oil when I measured it on the dipstick, it didn't show oil as if all the oil had come out, the car doesn't have a reservoir, everything is dry, so I went back to the dealer, I told them what happened and they told me to take it in for warranty, so I took it in for warranty and they didn't solve anything for me, to this day they still haven't solved anything for me, I'm telling you this so that you are aware of the cars that you are going to get from this dealer because they already knew that the car was bad and they still sold it to me It is consuming oil and to this date I have not received any response from them. I feel scammed.
I was just like you reading the mixed reviews, trying to figure out if this place was really as bad as some people said or if they just caught them on an off day. So, I decided to find out for myself. I visited this dealership last month and met a salesman who seemed nice enough, even let me take a car out for a test drive. I’m thinking, okay, not bad so far. But the moment I tried to talk numbers, the charm disappeared faster than a free donut at a morning meeting . As soon as I made an offer, the friendly tone vanished. No counteroffer, no “let’s see what we can do,” just a cold nope. You’d think I asked for the car for free. It quickly became clear he wasn’t interested in actually selling cars maybe he just enjoys watching people leave the lot empty-handed. So, I did him a favor and left. Fast-forward a few weeks. They happen to be the only lot with the specific model I wanted, so I decided to give them another shot (call it optimism or short-term amnesia). I tried to escape the old salesman who dismissed my offer, hoping for better results with someone new. At least, that was the plan. The new salesman gives me an out-the-door price that’s way over my budget. I tell him politely, “I’m comparing a few options and will get back to you.” His reply? “If you leave and come back, the price won’t be the same.” Not because the car might sell, no, just because I had the audacity to think about it first. And here’s the funny part: his final quote was actually higher than what the first salesman gave me. So much for a fresh start. That told me everything I needed to know. Negotiation apparently isn’t on the menu here. If you’re wondering whether to visit, by all means, go. Talk to them for five minutes and you’ll understand why the reviews are all over the place. Oh, and if you do stop by, take a look inside the cars. The one I test-drove had cobwebs in it. Maybe they’re going for a barn-find aesthetic. And whatever you do, test-drive thoroughly, because from what I could tell, they either don’t know the condition of their own cars or they’d rather you didn’t. It’s one thing to overlook minor cosmetic flaws, but not knowing about (or ignoring) mechanical issues, especially transmission problems, is a whole different story.
These guys are great. Ive bought 2 cars from them now as of today, and the first one I own from them still works perfectly fine. They are patient, really chill guys and will find a way to work with you. Theyre all about helping people get affordable cars and making sure youre getting a good deal. They have extremely fair prices, and i couldnt recommend them enough. They even helped me out a little extra as a repeat customer. Thanks again Kindred!
