I had a great experience at the dealership thanks to Marc and Bryan. Both of them were super helpful from start to finish and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. They were easy to work with, answered all my questions, and never made me feel pressured at any point. You can tell they genuinely care about helping their customers. I really appreciate their professionalism and would definitely recommend working with them if you’re in the market for a vehicle.
I bought a car here back in October. A couple days later the car needed to be serviced because it was blowing hot air through the AC. It was returned to me and soon after started blowing hot air while the car was idle. Fast forward to May and it is blowing hot air constantly. Upgrade Auto Sales isn’t the worst used car dealership I’ve dealt with but there are certainly better ones. Just be careful and do your research before giving your money to the first used car dealership you happen upon like I did.
I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with Upgrade Auto Sales. I placed a $500 deposit on a 2015 Jeep Wrangler under what was presented as a straightforward agreement to hold the vehicle. At no point were any terms disclosed stating the deposit was non-refundable or limited to a specific timeframe. Those terms were only introduced after my money was already taken. I showed full intent to purchase—I secured the funds (cash and cashier’s check), sent proof, and even shared my flight itinerary. I stayed in constant communication with Marc the entire time, including updates about airline cancellations that delayed my arrival. Despite that, they labeled me “inconsistent,” canceled the deal, and sold the vehicle to someone else while still holding my deposit. Only after repeated demands was my money returned. There were also serious transparency issues. I was initially told I could not speak to the owner because “no one speaks to him,” yet later I spoke to someone who appeared to be the owner but denied it. That alone should raise concerns. This experience felt like a bait-and-switch—terms changed after payment, poor transparency, and shifting explanations. I did get my money back, but that’s not the point. The issue is how the business operates. Make sure you get everything in writing upfront before giving them a single dollar.
