  • SCAM! BEWARE! YES, IT IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! We drove in 3 hours with our toddler to test drive a van in anticipation of our next child being born, it seemed like a great deal at a reputable company, but we were shocked with the treatment that was yet to come. We arrived to find the vehicle posted online for sale was not even at the dealership, but in the shop. We waited with our toddler until they got it back so we could test drive it and we loved the beautiful van but agreed the engine needed worked on, although confused as to why it was posted for sale if it wasn’t ready to be sold, but we were comforted and smooth talked into loitering around Fort Worth all day after being told there was a good chance it would be fixed by the end of the day… after spending all day loitering around Fort Worth we had to call them for them to tell us it would not be ready. We were told it would be ready the next day, after crashing at an acquaintances home, we waited around their house all day just for them to inform us it would not be ready that day either, right before rush hour, turning our 3 hour drive back home into a 4 hour drive in traffic. We planned on driving our newly purchased family vehicle back home up north after Thanksgiving, so we waited around at my parents home until Saturday (the new day of promised completion), after spending all Monday and Tuesday loitering around Fort Worth with an unruly toddler. We drove into Dallas from out of town, another 3 hours of driving in anticipation of finally receiving our new vehicle after being stranded in Texas for an additional week waiting on our car, just for them to inform us it would not be ready, so we had to purchase plane tickets to get home last minute instead. The sales person practically insinuated on the phone that they had priced the vehicle too low, which sparked fears that after all our hours of researching and driving and days of waiting around, the good deal we thought we found was indeed too good to be true, and all our time and efforts were wasted, while dragging our temperamental toddler along on our wild goose chase with this company, a very stressful and apparently unnecessary experience. A month later and still, my kind husband could not get any answers, the manager playing dumb and never fulfilling his empty promises to call us back with an update, as my parents were to drive the vehicle north to us in January as part of their planned trip to visit their grandson, and so in telling my father the story of being yanked along for a month, called and got the company to pretty much admit as we feared, that they weren’t ever going to sell us the car, that they were just dragging us along in hopes we would find something else and pull the deposit. And just like that, Autos of Forth Worth conned a young family fantasizing about their beautiful and unique new minivan hosting memories of their son and soon to be newborn child growing up in, only to realize we’d been scammed and stolen our time, money, and peace.

  • This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. Chris was very friendly without being pushy, and even stayed late to help. When I had some issues with some paperwork, David spent extra time on the following day to make sure everything was ok to inconvenience me. Great staff, happy with the car, and overall nice experience.

  • Worth reading if purchasing from this company: So I’m gonna try and explain about my experience with this company now that I’ve had my car for about three weeks. if you are interested in buying a used car from this company, they have really nice selection and really affordable. however, If you come for these cars, just know the dealership doesn’t know that much about the inner workings or the systems about the car. they just know that they run. They even have me signed paperwork saying once you buy the car it’s not their responsibility after it leaves the lot. for my specific car they didn’t even know the condition of the airbag. I got the car inspected because I didn’t know that much about the car except what the dealership told me which was not really anything. Cause they themselves didn’t even know. And my car came back with a lot of compartment troubles. There was oil leaks from the upper timing cover and Sway Bar/ Link Stabilizer were worn and broken— those were my most costly repairs and of course basic maintenance. as you all should know, stuff like this is common w used cars and that inspections are important. they’re upfront about everything they know and don’t know though. I just wrote this review to give a transparent analysis about this company cause I know how important cars are to a lot of people. They are helpful and otherwise really cool people. John, val, carlos, and dave !
