  • So amazing. Such great costumer service! Very helpful and he answered all our questions. Go see Fred at vanguard auto sales.

  • The service whit Fred was great. He was very humble and respectful. He also clarified all of our concerns about the contracts whit no "make up".

  • We purchased a 2021 Ford Explorer Hybrid from Fred a three months ago. Initially, the experience was positive, Fred was laid back, not pushy, and easy to work with. We left a strong review (5 star) at the time because he seemed genuine and told us the vehicle had only been in a minor accident and that if anything came up, we were covered. Unfortunately, after owning the vehicle for less than four hours, a charging system warning appeared. I reported it to Fred right away. Over the following weeks, I brought the car back several times and followed his directions to take it to his mechanic and replace the 12V battery, none of which fixed the issue. I also had two independent mechanics examine the car at my own expense. Eventually, I had no choice but to take it to a Ford dealership, where they spent two weeks diagnosing it and found major high-voltage system damage that was absolutely not “minor.” The final repair cost was nearly $6,000. I documented all of this and reached out to Fred for help since this issue was present from day one and because he told us we were covered. After I sent him the bad news, he stopped responding and did not follow up. I’m updating my review so future buyers can be aware: if you’re considering purchasing a vehicle with a salvage title from this dealership, be extremely cautious. Make sure you have it fully inspected by the manufacturer first, and do not rely on verbal assurances of being “covered” if something goes wrong. I really wish this had gone differently, we were hoping for support and transparency after the sale, especially given the immediate issues, but unfortunately that wasn’t our experience.
