DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! 🚨🚨 Terrible experience. Their customer service is awful, and both ice machines we received arrived damaged. We purchased a brand-new ice machine from this company. When it arrived, we discovered that it was damaged. We contacted them and waited for them to pick it up and send us a replacement. After waiting another two weeks, the replacement ice machine arrived damaged as well. At that point, we no longer wanted to wait or trust the company, so we requested a full refund and allowed them to take back the ice machine and bin. Instead of taking responsibility for sending us two damaged machines, their salesperson, Wendy, told us they would charge us a 25% restocking fee. Seriously? You send us a damaged machine twice, make us wait weeks for a replacement, and then charge us 25% of our money when we ask for a refund? What a scam company. 🤦🏻‍♂️ We definitely should have read the reviews before purchasing from this company. Based on our experience, I would NOT recommend buying anything from them. Very disappointing product and customer service.
Bought a commercial 2-door refrigerator (XB54R) from Cooler Depot on August 25, 2025. The unit failed after only 11 months with a sealed system refrigerant leak. Temperature was reading 57°F. I filed a warranty claim (1-year labor / 3-year parts). Cooler Depot acknowledged the problem but has been unable to get a local technician to fix it because their approved repair budget. Multiple techs refused the job once they learned it was under warranty. As of July 25, 2026 — over a week later — they still have no resolution or clear timeline. This left my restaurant without proper refrigeration and created serious operational and food safety risks. Very poor after-sales support. They sold the unit with a warranty but failed to honor it in any practical way. Would not recommend buying commercial equipment from them.
I had a great experience with Cooler Depot. I purchased a budget freezer from them and honestly it exceeded my expectations for the price. It runs well, keeps everything perfectly frozen, and has been very reliable so far. For a “budget” unit, the build quality is solid and it looks clean in the store. It’s exactly what I needed without overpaying for a big-name brand. Delivery and setup were smooth, and the staff was helpful and straightforward. If you’re looking for an affordable freezer that gets the job done, I definitely recommend Cooler Depot. Great value for the money 👍
