  • Typically we have been factory dealer type shoppers. This time when the wife said “I want a Range Rover” we went to the factory dealer and tbh the experience sucked. Then the wife said hey I saw one the other day up in south hill that caught my eye. Off we go up the hill and there it was out front. We were there at the tail end of the day and told them we love the look of this we might come back in the am. Here’s the difference, they let us leave and with zero pressure. This is NOT what I am accustomed to with the factory dealers. They just told us we hope to see you tomorrow and have a great night. Over night we decided we’re gonna go back and give this thing a test drive, once on site we were greeted right away and we hit it off like we all knew each other. In minutes I realized these people are tire and honest and care about the people they sell to. Trade in price was more than fair, price of vehicle bought was fair and the experience was one of the best me and the wife have had. 27 years married , over 20 vehicles bought together. This says something!!

  • I had killed my car of 12 years on Sunday, and thanks to searches for the replacement I preferred (my new to me RAV4 XLE Hybrid)- I found 1st Gear through CarGurus. I called and talked to Josh, the next day- he helped me check out my new ride. Sean did his level best to get a decent loan agreement (considering this was unplanned and between me not having a down and today’s interest rates). Within hours of arrival, good fun with the team there- I drove my new ride home on Thursday. They were helpful and the vibe is good! I also like the fact they have their own service shop- if needed, I can go back. 1st Gear works to help their customers! Thanks again guys, for making a painful event a pleasant new journey!
