  • I cracked 2 of the outer camera glass lenses on my iphone 14 pro max and came in to The Phone Guys on a Friday after work about 2pm to see about getting them replaced. They said they could do it but needed to get the parts from their warehouse as they said they only get parts once a week. Inconvenient, but it's an older phone so it's understandable. Came back the next week on a Thursday after work at 2pm. They had the parts but said their tech usually leaves at 2pm for the day and could have it repaired next day depending on how many other repairs were before me. So I dropped the phone off so they could do the repair the next day while I was at work. I came back after work at 2pm on Friday to pick it up and they hadn't done the repair because they said that specific tech didn't come into work. Annoying. All three times I was in the store there were 3 different people who apparently can't work on phones. So why do they work there? Why not train them to do repairs or hire people that have experience at business that does phone repair? I asked when the tech who could repair my phone would be back to work and they said he is scheduled to work again on Sunday. I asked for my phone back and asked if they were actually going to do the repair if I came back Sunday to have that particular tech do the repair. They said yes. So I came back Sunday when they opened and low and behold "the tech wasn't there yet". It seems like this tech makes his own hours and comes and goes as he pleases. Yet there is another employee there that day that I hadn't seen before who seemingly wasn't capable of doing the repair either since they wanted to wait for this elusive tech that kept skipping work. They tried to get me to leave my phone again, but I asked if they could just text or call me when the tech arrives, they said yes. About an hour later they text me to tell me they're ready to do the repair. I arrive and they tell me the tech didn't come in today but that the employee who was there when I came in earlier will do the repair. WHY DIDN'T HE DO IT IN THE FIRST PLACE? (I'll see why when I pick up my phone after it's repaired). So I drop it off and they said they should have it done within an hour or two. I come back a few hours later and they replaced the camera glass but when I pull up the camera app the main camera is showing dots like the camera lens is dirty and they won't wipe off. I showed them a picture with the dots and they offered no solution. Okay whatever maybe I just need some isopropyl alcohol or glass cleaner. So I pay and go home and use a flashlight to inspect the lens and see there is a big smudge on the inside of the replaced lens! Took a week and a half and a half dozen trips to the store to get such a poor quality repair done. Thanks. Would not recommend this particular location. Maybe other locations are run better and have competent techs that actually show up.

  • I had a great experience at this used phone and electronics store. I was helped by a young man who was incredibly patient and helpful, especially since I was shopping with my mother-in-law, which can take a little extra care and explanation. The young man took the time to walk us through several phone options, explained everything in plain language, and never made us feel rushed or pressured to buy something we didn’t need. They answered all our questions, helped us compare choices, and made sure the phone we picked was the right fit for her needs and budget. It’s clear they know their stuff when it comes to phones, repairs, and electronics, but what really stood out was how respectful and genuinely helpful the young man was. I highly recommend this shop.

  • My family has 7 phones, both iPhones and Samsung Galaxy. We have not bought a brand new phone since 2021. We buy refurbished phones from The Phone Guys. Their prices are fair and their service is superb. They offer new and used phones and tablets. Try them! The store we use is in Everett, WA.
