  I have been dealing with John for quite a few years and have bought 5 or 6 cars from him. Each one of those cars have never given me a bit of trouble - I just got tired of them, and one was totaled in an accident lol. The car I had before my current car (Saturn Hybrid, bought from John) was still working fine but I decided I wanted something a bit bigger with a bit more power, so after looking on Preferred’s website nothing really interested me. I messaged John about what I was looking for and he told me he would find it for me, which he did. An absolutely mint Nissan Rogue SL. I’ve had the Rogue now for almost two years and have not had to put a penny into it other than routine oil changes and a new battery. The moral of this ramble is that if you are looking for a reliable high quality used car, go see John at Preferred Motor Cars. You’ll pay a fair price with none of the undisclosed bs “fees” that other car dealers try to get away with. Oh, one more thing - I gave the Saturn to my daughter who drove it for another year before she decided to get a bigger car for herself! Also bought from John!

  BEWARE!! Sold me a rust bucket for $6000 last year. The undercoat was painted black to hide the rust. I brought it back because it wouldn't pass NY inspection because of a safety issue. John said he would fix it, fixed it enough to pass inspection. No other mechanic will touch it because of how rusted the truck is. Do not shop here!!

  Ronnie assisted my son in purchasing his first car. He was wonderful. No BS, straight to the point with a very reasonable offer. He was patient, kind, and made this a very good experience for us both.
