  Recently purchased a vanity from Kitchen and Bath Direct USA in Ontario on Wednesday, 07/22/2026.The selection of options was impressive with way more variety than the big box stores, and the pricing offers noticeably better value for the quality. That said, the LX Brand cabinets they carry are flat-packed “builder grade” (birch wood, basically one step above particle board), and assembling them was a serious pain. There are essentially no proper instructions. They handed me a partial sheet that covered maybe half the process. Nothing on adding a plywood topper, assembling the drawers, vanity top specifications, or templates for the drawer hardware. Their fast forwarded 20-second “how-to” assembly videos on TikTok and social media are basically just teasers that don’t help much in reality. There’s multiple screw sizes needed throughout the assembly and it’s basically a guessing game which goes where. The in-store experience was a little frustrating. No one greets you as you walk into there 90° Farenheight warehouse and you walk around for 10 minutes before realizing your suppose to sign in. You sign in and wait 20–30 minutes for a rep to come out and tell you what’s in stock. Then they send you to the back for order pick up where the employees move at the slowest pace imaginable with zero sense of urgency. I was also sold a kick plate I didn’t need, which arrived scratched thanks to the order picker placing the sink on top of it. On the product itself, one drawer already hangs up and won’t close properly. All in all, I would probably purchase from them again because the value beats the junk at the big box stores, but they need to step it up with much better assembly instructions/videos and show live stock availability. If you’re not handy or don’t have a couple of days to wrestle with flat-pack assembly, just pay the extra $100 and have them assemble it for you it’ll save you a ton of headaches.
