I just wanted to commend Catrina and all the people at Finesse A Car! From the time we pulled up to the lot to the time we signed the sales documents, the customer service we experienced was unmatched! Catrina had all the cars ready that we wanted to test drive. She was never pushy with the sale and was so helpful with any questions we had. We were so impressed by the customer service and the price of the vehicles that we ended up buying two! You cannot go wrong giving them a visit! We highly recommend this place and we will definitely send our friends and family there! Thanks so much again Catrina and the team!
I’m sure Finesse A Car has many great salespeople and assistants who truly care about their customers — but I’m equally sure that Nilou is not one of them. If you end up with Nilou as your salesperson, be prepared for one of the worst attitudes you’ll ever see at a dealership. I arrived a bit early and was told the Model Y I came for was still being washed. Fair enough — I patiently waited for nearly two and a half hours, no complaints. During that time, I even test-drove a Model 3, which went fine. When my Model Y was finally ready, I immediately noticed a large crack on the windshield (see photos). I was shocked, especially since the dealership’s website had no photos of this car at all — which now feels suspicious — and the Carfax report clearly said “No accidents or damage reported.” Still, I stayed polite. They said they would replace the windshield for free, and I appreciated that. But when I saw the technician installing a non-Tesla OEM glass, I respectfully asked if they could offer a small discount since it wasn’t original. That’s when everything changed. She told me no, their price are all upfront and no negotiation, which I totally respect and understand, it is still a great deal. Nilou’s entire attitude flipped. She told me — and I quote — “Well- you weren’t being honest about buying a car, you wasted my time and put mileage into my car.” I was completed stunned and speechless. Then she shrugged, completely unbothered, looked me in the eye and said, “Yeah,” as if what she just said was totally appropriate. I was honestly stunned. Since when is test driving a car considered “dishonest”? Isn’t that literally her job? For context, the “test drive” was less than half a mile, just circling around the dealership. Apparently, that 0.5 mile was enough to ruin her day. Why so petty? Calling a potential customer “a waste of time” is unbelievably unprofessional — especially when most of her “wasted time” seemed to be spent scrolling on her phone instead of assisting customers. Ironically, she accused me of being dishonest, yet the dealership itself didn’t report the cracked windshield on Carfax and used a non-original replacement. To be clear, I do believe Finesse A Car has great vehicles and other great employees — just not Nilou. Her attitude was rude, dismissive, and unnecessarily hostile. Life’s too short to deal with people who treat customers this way. I was going to put a deposit but she just turned away a customer. If you visit this dealership, do yourself a favor: ask for literally anyone else.
DO NOT DO TRADE INS -Please do yourself a favor read this if you are doing a trade in! This has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional car-buying experiences I’ve ever had. I traded in my 2024 Ford Mustang GT with only 1880 miles for a 2023 Tesla Model 3 Performance with 20,000 miles, and also made a cash deposit. That was back in early May. It’s now mid-July, and as of today, the trade-in loan still has not been paid off even though that should’ve been handled by the dealership within 21 days, per California law. Mind you when I turned in my car keys and we did the paperwork. They told me everything was fine. They claimed I was good to go and will take care of the rest including the buy off. I don’t understand why they need me to go and call my bank when they have my bank’s info this is something that they could’ve asked for too right away, but they didn’t Not once did they reach out to update me or explain the delay. I’ve had to do all the work myself calling my bank, getting payoff letters, checking for late fees, and trying to prevent damage to my credit. Even worse, they claimed there was no record of my deposit until I showed them proof which felt like an attempt to gaslight me. Good thing I have proof of payment. What’s also deeply concerning is that it seems they’ve been using the car I traded in, even though it’s not fully paid off and not insured under their name. That’s not only unprofessional, it’s a major liability. I already let the bank know as well. When I received the Tesla, it was not fully charged and the interior was dirty, like it had just been used for someone’s personal errands. This entire experience has made me question how this dealership operates behind the scenes. If I hadn’t stayed on top of everything, I honestly don’t believe this issue would’ve been noticed let alone resolved. I’ve been ignored via text and left in the dark, with no real accountability shown. It’s July 21st still no progress or proof of payment done. Customer service seemed great at first very responsive and helpful. But once the sale was complete, communication dropped off completely. I’ve tried reaching out multiple times to resolve the issue professionally, but I haven’t received any meaningful follow-up. It honestly feels like once the deal is done, you’re no longer treated as a priority. I understand mistakes happen, but this isn’t just a slip-up this is a pattern of poor management and lack of customer care. Based on my experience, I absolutely do not recommend buying from here. Update: The dealership eventually paid off my trade-in after significant delays, but only after I pushed the issue. My credit was affected. In my personal opinion, once the sale was complete, I felt ignored and unsupported. If you are considering trading in here, be aware of the potential risks. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership. The only good part of this deal was the sales and finance staff. They were polite and did what they could to help me, and I genuinely appreciate their efforts. Unfortunately, the way the dealership and ownership handled the payoff delay and communication was extremely disappointing. If both of them ever worked for a better dealer, I would buy from them. I'll never buy from this dealership, which in my experience showed no accountability or effort to fix the issue.
