  • Garrett was hands-down one of the best sales experiences I’ve had. He was incredibly patient and genuinely diligent about helping me find a vehicle that actually fit me and my business. We looked at multiple options, talked through real-world use, and he never once made me feel rushed or pressured. Bonus points for keeping me caffeinated and fed. If you want a salesperson who listens, thinks, and treats you like a human instead of a transaction, ask for Garrett.

  • Disappointing Experience with Unreliable Sales Practices I recently had a highly frustrating experience with this dealership that I feel compelled to share as a caution to others. As customers who purchase a new vehicle every 2-3 years and typically remain loyal to dealerships that earn our trust, we were interested in an $80,000 truck listed on their website. We coordinated with salesperson Kevin to arrange pickup and drove three hours (a six-hour round trip, plus significant fuel costs) based on the understanding that the vehicle was available and ready for us. Just one hour from arrival, Kevin called to inform us that the truck had suddenly become “unsellable,” citing vague instructions from his sales manager. He provided no further details, noting he wasn’t yet at work and was relaying secondhand information. Suspicious of this explanation, we checked the online listing and had a third party inquire about availability. They were told the truck had “just sold” and that the buyer was in the process of signing paperwork. This conflicting information and last-minute cancellation suggest a lack of transparency and reliability. While vehicle availability can change, selling a vehicle out from under customers who have invested substantial time and effort to travel—without prior warning or accountability—feels unethical and disrespectful. As busy professionals running our own business, we expect integrity and clear communication in transactions of this magnitude. We have not previously used this dealership, and this experience makes it clear we won’t ever. I would strongly advise potential buyers to proceed with extreme caution and consider securing a firm hold or deposit agreement in writing before committing travel or time. We will be taking our business elsewhere. *And be sure to check their reviews on Yelp (yikes!)

  • I wouldn’t recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. My husband and I came in to look at a Volvo and decided we did want to purchase it. Once we sat down to look at numbers, they added on a $3,000 charge for ceramic coating/tint claiming it had “already been completed.” This additional $3,000 add on was not included in the online or window sticker price. They try to sneak it in. We requested for the charge to be removed and at that point they told us that they would only remove $1,000 of it if we financed the vehicle through GMC. We wanted to pay cash. We looked at GMC’s google reviews and this happens to be a common theme with GMC Riverfront, adding on additional charges for the ceramic coating without disclosing it AND one customer discovered the coating was never completed in the first place. Total bait and switch. When we let the salesman know this, he told us that he’s lost a lot of business over this ceramic coating ordeal and unfortunately it’s written on GMC Riverfront website in fine print that they can include “add on’s” in their final price. Very misleading. Next day we ended up purchasing a Volvo from a different dealership and had a way better experience. The salesman’s at the dealer we purchase from told us he used to work at GMC Riverfront and left after a month because the dealership is financially doing very poorly, which was apparent after they attempted to get us to finance through them instead of paying cash. The salesman told us he tried to sell a family a 2004 vehicle for 4k and GMC still added on the ceramic coating and the family could no longer afford to purchase the vehicle. You don’t need ceramic coating on a 2004 vehicle unless desired, GMC. Do better and stop misleading your customers.
