  So I hit the realization recently that my vehicle has a lot of miles. With how much I drive for work - it was time for a new vehicle. Which was hard because I absolutely freaking love my car. But I went to several places looking at used Explorers trying to find one like my current baby. Then I ended up meeting Emily at Southern Ford in Newport News. Unfortunately the car I went to see was no longer available. But she tried to find me something like I wanted. She went above and beyond. She listened and figured out what my must haves and negotiable were. Out of all the sales people I talked to she listened and asked the right questions and invested in this process with me - not talking TO me and trying to sell me something else. We found a used one I liked but I did not like the price. Then I ran into Kelcey who worked where I bought my last explorer and remembered me. Emily got smart and found a brand new explorer that had what I wanted. Kelcey ran the numbers and it was where I could be. It was a smarter and cheaper decision for me to get a brand new vehicle. This band of people dealt with me for 2 days. All from different parts of the process. They made it so enjoyable, even the constant negotiations lol Then for each sale they let you pop a confetti popper which is so fun - except it was so loud I thought it was a gunshot and there was confetti everywhere. I hated that the process was done so quickly because it was fun getting to know them. In my job I get to spend usually a couple months with my clients.
