  • Met with sales rep Trevor tonight. He was patient with me and good at explaining the features of the vehicle I was interested in - Santa Fe Limited. He explained to me he’d only been there 2 weeks, and his level of vehicle knowledge and how he handled himself are a strong testament to his abilities and also the training that Fred Beans offers their employees. I was impressed. I also met the used car manager who was a cool guy and gave me a generous appraisal for my trade in. On top of that the general manager actually introduced himself to me. That’s not a common practice and made the visit seem more personal, and he was a down to earth guy. It was nice how they made it clear they definitely wanted to earn my business, but weren’t too pushy like some dealerships can be.

  • John D. Gomez was great at helping my family trade in our vehicle and get a newer model. Easy to talk to with our concerns, heard us out and got us a good deal. Will come back in the future! Love the Chevy

  • Disappointed in My Experience at Fred Beans Hyundai I brought my Hyundai Santa Fe to Fred Beans Hyundai because my check engine light was on, and the code indicated the spark plugs needed to be replaced. I scheduled the appointment online and dropped the car off on March 17th, expecting it to be worked on the next day. On the 18th, I received a call saying the appointment was only for an oil change, even though I had clearly selected the check engine issue when booking online. I clarified the issue, and was told the car would likely be ready by the end of that week. Later, I was informed it needed a valve cover gasket and an oil change, which I approved. I was told it would be completed within a week of drop-off. On March 25th, I followed up and was told the check engine light was still on. They mentioned needing to consult someone with more experience with my model. I was okay with the delay, but after that, updates became inconsistent and communication was difficult. By April 1st, I was told the car had overheated while they were working on it, which was concerning. I had hoped a Hyundai dealership would be well equipped to handle issues like this. The following week, I still hadn’t received an update and had to call multiple times, speaking with different staff each time just trying to get some clarity. At nearly a month without my car, I asked about a loaner and was told I could get one with a $250 refundable deposit, which I agreed to. At the one month mark, I was informed the car now also needed a new battery, had one cracked ignition coil, and needed the oxygen sensor replaced. These weren’t mentioned earlier, and it’s unclear whether the overheating caused some of these issues. The total estimate came to over $3,000. I declined some of the additional work and, with a military discount and a complimentary battery, ended up paying about $1,800. When I picked up my vehicle, it was returned with no fuel (I had left it with half a tank) and it was visibly dirty. I try to stay on top of maintenance, and the car passed inspection in September with no major issues. I understand that unexpected things can come up, but the overall communication, timeline, and return condition of my vehicle left a lot to be desired. Whether they are overbooking or just don't have the ability to keep up with their workload, my experience with Fred Beans Hyundai was extremely disappointing and stressful. What should have been a simple fix turned into a month-long ordeal with little communication, surprise costs, and concern over how my car was handled. I will not be returning, and I strongly suggest you take your vehicle elsewhere.
