  We purchased a van from Hudson Trucks with the clear understanding that they would honor any small repairs if issues appeared shortly after the purchase. Unfortunately, that promise turned out to be completely meaningless. Shortly after buying the vehicle, we discovered problems and contacted them as agreed. Instead of honoring their word, they gave us excuse after excuse and repeatedly misled us. One example: they told us copying the keys could be done “anywhere.” That turned out to be completely false. After wasting time trying different places, we had to go to Nissan to get the keys copied, which cost us additional time and money. While the vehicle was at Nissan, their technicians also discovered something even more concerning: a part of the engine had been held in place using silicone. Any competent mechanic knows this is a very questionable and potentially dangerous practice, especially in critical engine components. When we brought this to Hudson Trucks’ attention, they refused to reimburse even part of the repair costs, claiming they would have “fixed it themselves.” Frankly, after seeing silicone used as a mechanical solution, I have zero confidence in their idea of a repair. Between the misleading statements, the refusal to stand behind what they promised, and the questionable mechanical practices, this was an extremely frustrating experience. I strongly recommend that anyone considering buying a vehicle from Hudson Trucks have the vehicle thoroughly inspected by an independent mechanic before purchasing, and be very cautious about relying on any verbal promises.
