  • Do NOT buy a car from this Buy Here Pay Here dealership. We purchased a vehicle in July 2025, and it has been nothing but problems. The car began misfiring, shaking, and thumping shortly after purchase. In December, the vehicle completely broke down and we had to pay $200 out of pocket for towing from South Fulton, GA—twice. When we brought the car in, it already had brand new spark plugs installed the day before. Despite this, Alex charged us again for spark plugs, admitted he threw ours away, and then tried to downplay it by saying they were “cheap $1–$2 plugs,” which is completely false—they cost over $100. If they were allegedly wrong, they should have been returned, not thrown away. They kept our car for over a week, claimed $1,900 in repairs, and demanded $276 before releasing the vehicle. Immediately after leaving their lot, the car took three tries to start, made loud noises, and began shaking again on the drive home—and continued the next morning. When I called Alex to report the ongoing issues, he said he “wasn’t in the mood,” told us to “take him to court,” claimed he has “lawyers on deck,” threatened repossession, cursed at me, and hung up the phone—even though we have made every payment early and on time. They also lied about removing the CPI insurance charge after we obtained full coverage. Once we complied, they suddenly said it “takes 30 days,” which was never disclosed. To make matters worse, items went missing from our car while it was in their possession: Tools that Alex admitted to taking Brand new spark plugs Original spark plugs That is theft. We are now stuck with a still-broken car, missing property, and completely unprofessional treatment. This dealership shows zero accountability, poor ethics, and no concern for customer safety. Save yourself the stress, money, and headache. Go somewhere else.

  • Easily the best experience I could've asked for. Alex and his team really roll out the red carpet for their customers. I purchased a 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe on 4/29/25, the vehicle almost looked brand new so I had to get it. The purchase process was quick and to the point, took less than 20 minutes to finalize and get the keys. I would highly recommend Atlanta Auto Max if you're in need of a vehicle. In a day and age where businesses do the bare minimum, these guys go ABOVE & BEYOND.

  • Do not go to this place. They will sale you a car in any type of condition. My check engine light came on a day after I got the vehicle. They also will repo your vehicle if you are 1 day late of a payment. I got my car repossessed twice and the second time they said I can’t get my vehicle back if I have a 2nd repossession. I was never informed of this information and it’s not in my contract that I signed. I will be proceeding with legal action. So just be cautious!
