  I recently purchased an F-150 from CM Motors, and my experience has been extremely disappointing. The truck I paid $18k for ended up having multiple major issues almost immediately. In my experience, the catalytic converter was clogged/broken, the paint was peeling, the cam phasers were failing, the engine had a noticeable knock, and the transmission was hard-shifting. I was also told the truck came from Texas, but after checking the history myself, I found out it actually came from a snow state—Kentucky. This was frustrating because I was specifically told the truck was in “perfect condition,” which was far from what I ended up receiving. To make things worse, I later learned the owner had put around 5,000 miles on the truck without properly servicing it. Anyone who knows F-150s knows they need oil changes every 5k miles, and running it like that can cause serious issues. The truck was also handed over to me with an empty tank, which isn’t how a vehicle should be treated before being sold. When I contacted CM Motors about all these problems, they refused to address or fix any of them. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend getting any vehicle from them thoroughly inspected by a trusted mechanic before buying. I truly regret this purchase.
