  AutoNation USA - Austin says it right there on the building. "We'll Buy Your Car"... and in my case, I'm very happy they did. I had an online (sight unseen) AutoNation offer printed out for my 2021 Ford Explorer ST when I walked into the dealership a little before 6 PM the evening of December 23, 2025 and met with Richard Frazier, my buyer. I had gotten a few higher offers than AutoNation's online offer from other dealerships for my vehicle during the day but these other places had closed and I was hoping to make a transaction before I left town for Christmas the next morning by either beating or matching my best offer. I parked my Explorer in front of the dealership and walked into AutoNation USA Austin with not particularly high expectations (which ended up being completely overturned). Right from the get-go, Richard had a fun easy-going, super friendly attitude that made me feel right at ease as he checked out my vehicle with his manager. We went back and forth on price just a bit and then he came back with the offer I accepted. I had all my paperwork in order, and the whole process was therefore seamless and super straightforward from beginning to end, and I left the dealership with a check in hand just as the ad promised. :) If you're in the Austin area and want to sell a car without the hassle for a fair price, make sure you give a shout to Richard at AutoNation USA in North Austin.
