Extremely disappointing experience with AutoNation Ram Roseville. I purchased a 2020 Ram 1500 Laramie and specifically asked about the inspection and condition because I’ve had bad experiences buying used vehicles in the past. I was told everything was good. At no point during the sales process was I verbally informed that factory equipment had been removed. After the purchase, I discovered the truck was originally equipped (per VIN) with power-folding mirrors but was sold with non-power-folding mirrors instead. This was later confirmed by Ram service. Initially, the dealership treated this as a valid issue, inspected the truck, and even submitted it for warranty approval. Only later did the story change. I was then told this downgrade was “fully disclosed” in paperwork. However, I was never shown, walked through, or verbally made aware of this during the sale. When I asked about the inspection before buying, nothing about a downgrade affecting trim or value was explained. The final straw was being told my truck was ready for pickup, driving back to the dealership, and finding the truck still taken apart and not ready, wasting my time and gas. While the service manager and assistant general manager were understanding and tried to help, all attempts to resolve the issue were blocked by the general manager. This experience reflects a serious lack of transparency, poor communication, and an unwillingness to take responsibility. I would not recommend buying a used vehicle here unless you are prepared to comb through every document yourself and question everything.
Brought my 2024 Jeep Gladiator in for warranty repair. Daniel the service advisor, and Brian the service manager both went above and beyond in resolving my Gladiator's warranty problems. Both communicated, keeping me posted on my vehicle's progress. The tech sent me videos documenting the problems. Brian went to bat for me with the Jeep factory representatives. The work that was done seems to be of good quality. So while my Jeep Gladiator has had a lot of problems in its first 12,000 miles, the Service department at Autonation Roseville Jeep has been top notch to work with. I really appreciate their care, concern and making me feel as if my voice is heard.
I had a great experience working with Samir. He was straightforward, communicative, and made the entire process feel smooth and efficient. I really appreciated how respectful and professional he was throughout, and there was no pressure or unnecessary back-and-forth. I came in well-informed, knew exactly what I was looking for, and didn’t need a lot of hand-holding. Samir respected that, communicated clearly, and kept things moving without trying to oversell or complicate the process. I ended up purchasing a clean, one-owner trade-in that was exactly what I wanted, and everything from my first email through purchase to driving the care home was 2.5 hours. As a woman, I also appreciated how respectful the experience was. There were no assumptions or condescending moments, just straightforward and professional communication. Even after the sale, Samir followed through on a small interior repair at no cost, and it turned out perfect. While I waited for the repair, they gave me a donut. That level of service really stood out. Overall, a very positive experience, and I would absolutely work with Samir again. (I was not asked in any way to write a review of my experience)
