I am extremely disappointed with the service department at Mercedes-Benz of Delray. I brought my Mercedes in for a manufacturer-related issue involving the cylinder head and turbocharger system that was serious enough to be associated with a fire-risk recall. The dealership removed and replaced the cylinder head, drained and refilled the cooling system, changed the oil, replaced numerous seals and gaskets, and road-tested the vehicle before returning it to me. Approximately one month later, my vehicle began overheating while I was driving. The overheating became severe and ultimately resulted in catastrophic engine failure. Instead of standing behind the extensive engine work they performed, the dealership is now attempting to charge me nearly $24,000 for repairs while placing the blame entirely on me. What makes this even more frustrating is that the repair invoice states that installed parts and workmanship are warranted for at least 12 months or 12,000 miles and that all services will be performed in a good and workmanlike manner. I trusted Mercedes-Benz and its technicians to perform a critical engine repair correctly. After experiencing a complete engine failure so soon after that repair, I expected a thorough investigation, transparency, and support. Instead, I have been left with a vehicle that is inoperable, a repair estimate approaching $24,000, and no meaningful assistance. The situation has become so concerning that I am now being forced to seek legal advice and explore retaining an attorney to protect my interests and determine whether the engine failure is related to the work performed by the dealership. This is not a step I wanted to take, but I feel I have been left with no other option. I hope Mercedes-Benz corporate reviews this matter carefully and conducts an independent investigation into the circumstances surrounding this repair and subsequent engine failure. At a minimum, I believe this situation deserves far more scrutiny than simply attributing fault to the customer. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service department. Customers should carefully document all repairs and consider obtaining an independent inspection if significant issues arise shortly after dealership service. -Eric Johnson
Wonderful experience, went in not having high hopes because of past experience with other dealerships but Mercedes of Delray pleasantly surprised me and exceeded all my expectations. I got a great price selling my car and on the purchase of a new vehicle. I have done research before selling and purchasing a car and this was the only dealership where I truly felt that they were giving me a good price and they weren’t there just to rip me off. They have found a forever customer. Robert was an amazing and very patient person. Wonderful manager that night as well making sure we were happy.
MERCEDES-BENZ OF DELREY BEACH 2021 Toyota Venza LE AWD 5-⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stars 5 Stars - Beyond Happy with my Toyota Hybrid AWD Venza! Very clean dealership, inside and out. A lot of inventory and a lot of staff ready to help. Attentive and Respectful staff, with coffee and lounging area. I’m a total car guy, but these days I’m all about that efficiency—and this black Hybrid AWD Toyota Venza is the absolute sweet spot. The styling is sharp, the AWD gets you going without any lag just vrrmm goes the electric motor. Plus the fuel economy is honestly mind-blowing for a car this capable. I’m getting 35 mpg beacuse I do speed up to pass drivers sometimes. 40 mpg is easily possible if I lay off the throttle a little! I had a couple of minor issues with the center console and a roof rail initially, but the team here stepped up and took care of it. They got the parts ordered, I went in on my day off and Done! It’s rare to find a dealership that follows through on the details, but they made sure this Venza was 💯% If you're looking for a spot that respects the car and the customer, come to Mercedes-Benz of Delray Beach.
