  I inquired about a vehicle online from out of state and received a call from the sales representative. I explained that I was already financed through my credit union. The sales representative then spoke with the Internet Sales Manager, Madison Wozniak, who reached out to me and explained that my 8.9% interest rate was a little high and that she may be able to help me secure a better rate. She also explained that when purchasing a vehicle, customers are allowed to shop around for financing. I made it clear that I was hesitant about having another credit inquiry, but I decided to move forward with the application. A few days later, Madison contacted me and informed me that I was not approved for a better rate. However, the way the conversation was handled was disappointing. She stated that I made it seem like my credit score was “super high,” which I felt was unnecessary and came across as harsh. I never provided her with my credit score, so I felt those comments were unfair and could have been communicated in a much more professional and respectful way. As someone working in sales, I expected better customer service and communication. The sales representative did apologize, which I appreciated, but the overall experience left me disappointed. A customer should always feel respected, regardless of their financing situation.
