  • I had a disappointing experience with Fernis Garage. Before purchasing my vehicle, I specifically told the dealership that I already had a custom license plate and would not need a new one. I was assured that this would not be a problem and that they would take care of everything. About a month later, when my temporary tag was about to expire, I returned to the dealership to pick up my registration for my existing custom plate. Instead, they handed me a completely new license plate. When I reminded them that I had clearly stated I wanted to keep my custom plate, their response was simply that it was their mistake because they “didn’t write it down.” Their solution was to tell me to go to the DMV and fix the issue myself. This error created unnecessary inconvenience, wasted my time, and forced me to deal with a problem that should have been handled correctly by the dealership in the first place. Mistakes happen, but taking responsibility means doing more than just saying “sorry” and passing the burden onto the customer. Based on my experience, I was disappointed by the lack of attention to detail and customer service after the sale.
