Friendly staff, amazing service, affordable prices, convenient location with lots of parking, and lots of e-bike options! I came here after going to another bike shop and decided to make a purchase with LB e-bikes after receiving outstanding customer service. Daniel took his time walking me through all the options and explaining how e-bikes work and recommended various options based on my specific needs. I was also helped by Alex and Gilbert who were both incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The information I got from the entire staff was consistent and I never felt rushed or pressured to make a purchase. They all took their time to answer my hundreds of questions, despite letting them know I wasn’t making a purchase that particular day. They offer options for customization and modifications and sell lots of accessories as well. With all the options available across Long Beach, and online, I ended up going back a few days later and purchasing my ridstar q20, which I love! This is a locally owned family oriented business and I highly recommend them. They were also very lgbtq friendly! Couldn’t be happier!
I dropped off two bikes on December 2 for battery upgrades and was told they would be ready before Christmas. I did not get them back until February. During that time, I was repeatedly told they would be ready on specific days, yet when I showed up — at least four separate trips — they were not. A simple phone call or text update would have prevented multiple wasted drives. It was also extremely difficult to get updates by phone, as calls frequently went unanswered. The lack of communication and follow-through was unacceptable. I was initially told the upgraded batteries would provide a 40–50 mile range. At pickup, I was informed they would only get about 30 miles — a significant difference from what was originally promised. To make matters worse, my Kryptonite lock went missing while the bike was in their possession and has still not been replaced despite their promise to do so. My bell was also broken, and the basket was loose when I brought the bikes home. Overall, this experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and disappointing. Based on the delays, poor communication, and unresolved issues, I would not recommend this shop. I suggest going to a more reputable and reliable place for service.
Gilbert was phenomenal, he knew everything about every bike in the store. The tech Daniel was also helpful both know there stuff. I had a great time and experience. This is a trust worthy ebike store. Best place in town. Thanks guy
