  • I felt like they are a really tricky/scammy car rental company. We rented a car through Expedia. Expedia told us that we were getting a car through economy. Then we get an email from economy saying they will be using a sister site called Carzi. Carzi has no workers, and it’s all contactless. Ok so we worked with it and signed everything online thinking it was a standard rental agreement. My husband then goes and travels to deliver Christmas gifts for work, and puts a bunch of miles on it. We’re thinking we just save our own car a bunch of miles, and got a good deal. Today we got our large bill. Apparently you only get 100 miles a day, then they charge you for mileage. I checked back with Expedia, and in the section where miles should be it says unavailable. I feel like it was super unethical to switch companies, have no place in the 3rd party website warning about mileage, and then just sliding the mileage into the contract as people are trying to get going on their way for their trip without an employee to go over contract with them.

  • Super easy We were dropping our oldest off at GCU and 1st time flying to Arizona from HAWAII. I've rented from hertz and even a third party local vehicle (something like Turo). My main goal is to get us from point A to B. Safely and semi-comfortably. Also, to blend in with the local vehicles in the area, so we do look like tourist! All we did was book through priceline. Read agreement Uploaded license and insurance card Checked in online Arrived at destination Car was waiting Took a video proof of vehicle appearance and conditions Car was unlocked in the stall emailed Key in lock box (code in email) Full tank of gas ready to go Returned car full tank of gas Vacuumed clean No incidents All automated through email Again super easy

  • Terrible. Rented through Expedia. Economy Car Rental. They do not accept Canadian insurance and said I had to buy their insurance, which more than doubled my bill!! If I declined, they threaten to charge me the full amount as a no show! They only text…no people to speak with. Two hours on the phone with Expedia resulted in sympathy and a promise to email the rental car company, who would get back to me in three business days!! I was effectively held hostage. The car had aweful stained rear seats. Never again!!
