Totally recommend purchasing here. Jacob is friendly and tells you exactly what you are purchasing. No beating around the bush, just honest sales. 2nd car my family has purchased here. Lots to choose from but if your really interested they'll even bring in a vehicle from their Sacramento lot. Like I said, highly recommend to consider here first.
I want to share an honest review of our experience at this dealership. Before we even got there, my fiancé completed the credit application online. We had also been looking at photos of the vehicle, and he noticed a dent on the side. He asked the sales rep about it ahead of time and whether it could be fixed, and the rep responded, “I’m sure we could do something about it.” When we arrived, we were greeted right away and everything initially seemed fine. Before the test drive, we did about a 10-minute walkaround of the vehicle. My fiancé is a mechanic, so he took his time inspecting everything closely. During that inspection, we noticed multiple scratches and areas where the bottom panels looked scraped up. The dent we originally saw was still there, along with additional cosmetic issues. When we brought these concerns up, the sales rep’s attitude noticeably shifted. We didn’t think too much of it at first and continued with the test drive. While driving, my fiancé felt a slight vibration in the steering wheel. When he mentioned it, the sales rep responded in a passive and somewhat unprofessional way, saying, “It’s just Stockton roads, bro.” After returning, my fiancé again brought up the concerns about the condition of the vehicle, especially the dent and scratches. At that point, the sales rep said, “I’m not gonna lie, I don’t think I want to sell you guys the vehicle,” because we were pointing out “every little thing.” It escalated further when my fiancé reminded him that he had previously said the dent could be fixed. The sales rep then changed his stance and said he was not going to fix the dent and that the car was being sold “as is.” This was not clearly specified online, which was frustrating. He continued to repeat that we were picking apart every little detail and made it seem like that was something he didn’t want to deal with. He also mentioned that he didn’t want problems coming back to the dealership because it’s a small family business. That comment didn’t sit right with me—I’ve never heard that said in a a car-buying experience before, and it honestly made me question the professionalism and transparency of the situation. As consumers, we believe it’s completely reasonable—and important—to point out concerns when making a major purchase like a car. Before coming in, it felt like there would be room for negotiation, which is standard in this situation. The interaction turned into some back-and-forth, and it became clear the rep was frustrated that we were being thorough. We genuinely wanted the vehicle, but the attitude made the experience uncomfortable. To be fair, everything did end up working out. The sales rep did apologize, and we ultimately purchased the car because it was what we wanted. However, based on our experience, I would say this: if it’s your first time buying a vehicle and you have certain expectations for customer service and communication, this may not be the best place for you. If you’re more experienced with car buying and can navigate that kind of environment, you may be fine. Overall, the deal went through and we got the car, but it felt like there was little room for feedback or concerns without pushback. While they were polite in the end and did apologize, the communication and professionalism throughout the process were not at the level I’m used to. For context, I’ve worked in the car industry before, so I understand how these situations typically go. Unfortunately, this experience didn’t meet that standard, and it’s not somewhere I would personally choose to do business with again.
TJ and Jacob helped me purchase a Jeep that I saw on their Marketplace ad. They were honest and very responsive. I had a good customer experience with First Choice Auto Collection. They are honest people.
