  • I am disappointed with used motorcycle purchase at Motomember Purcelleville 2 months ago. There are reasons I avoid dealers, but in a world of limited options sometimes you can't. I can forgive the need to charge exorbitant fees, because you figure you get some added value. Like getting my license plates in a timely fashion (I'm still waiting...cuz they lost them). Or maybe you get peace of mind from knowing that the used bike's been vetted by people who know what they're doing. My bike was reportedly owned by the dealer's owner, and I was assured that it was well cared for, and all required service was done (even if no records were kept). I specifically asked about the 24K mile service which should have included among other things a new fuel filter. When I tore into the bike to get it back on the road I came to find that a 26 year old bike with 26K miles had the original fuel filter (stamped 11 May 1998) and all the rotting original internal fuel hoses. The "upgrade" k&n air filter had never been cleaned (it was caked in black nastiness). Not to mention the fact that it could not idle without stalling unless the fast idle was switched on. Lots of random non-oem fasteners on board...I think its a bad sign if you can't service a bike without losing bolts. It runs great now because I know what I'm doing, but I think its dishonest to sell a bike in this condition as "ready to ride". I don't think its unreasonable to expect more from a used bike purchase from a dealer. I can't speak to how they treat the new bikes they sell, and I sure as hell will never find out.

  • The service department has gone above and beyond for me with several bikes that were in storage and needed reconditioning. I appreciate Sean and Anthony the service writers professionalism and knowledge. Jason and Mitch were both highly skilled mechanics and the whole staff made my experience top notch. I highly recommend this service center.

  • I recently bought an XSR900 Tristan was fantastic to deal with and so was the rest of the staff. Offered the best price around, great to deal with and super honest people. Will definitely come back again
