First, I'd like to mention when I searched for a car (2018 Hyundai Elantra) I was looking for a private seller, which they advertised as if. But when I showed up it was a dealer. I ended up paying $1000 in "taxes" more then was advertised around April. Later around in November or December (as soon as it got cold and wet while parked under a tree) the paint on top of the vehicle started peeling in multiple locations where small debris fell. (Which shouldn’t have happened if the paint job was done right, I feel like no clear coat was used) which has now cost me another $4000 + to have repainted. In addition, (with the change of weather) the steering column started squeaking when turning at low speeds when it rains. (I’m assuming there’s some missing casing for undercarriage that you forgot to put back on) Rear window that was used to steal car hasn’t even been repaired. This will require me to have replaced the whole motor assembly. Front bumper lip was missing and I had to drive back to pick it up, and on putting it on a bumper that should have been replaced (with the broken plastic undercarriage shields) the lip has since fell off due to it not being installed properly. Rug inside near drivers seat has since been peeling up exposing bare metal, this should have been glued to the frame. The cars battery died a month later at the same time there’s been a voltage leak discovered. Some wiring someplace is damaged or someone left on a tracking device that’s been hard wired into the electrical system. This had been the greatest concern, since I have noticed Indians or middle easterners stalking this car and breaking into it more then once. (This was happening after putting this review up the fist time about a year ago, and then taking it down. Noe I say screw it, I’m saying the truth). Apparently someone that has had the vin has subscribed to Sirius XM (another way to track car by satellite) a few moths back when I left the car in WA state. Since then I had my dash cam destroyed, SD cards stolen, remote fobs & keys copied, breaking with damage and theft's. What should have been done prior to putting it up for sale is having the salvage title changed & certified too “rebuild” or “restored salvage” if they weren’t able to file the right documents to have the salvage title retracted for clean title due to insurances mis identification. This car is costing me over $13000 and its not even clean title, not only did this company sell me a car above a fair market value (where I could have gotten a clean title for less) they sold me a lemon that's eating away at my pocketbook, and not to mention keeps getting broken into. I also made a mistake in using a Window Tinting service running out of the same shop, which after the job was done, I reached back out a day or two later pointing out issues with the job, where bubbles, grime & scratches were clearly visible. They said they would call back and never did, even after guaranteeing the installation. (Pay another hundred and get it done right by pros down the street that will warranty their work) This car was supposed to be valued at $7k to $8k at the most (in its as is condition at time of buy), I bought it, yes, it was the worst purchase I've made, and that's partly my fault. But your business practices are below bad in taking advantage of me. There is more to add in regard to your practices, but I won't be putting those out just yet.
I was hesitant at first about buying a used car especially a salvage but Mike the owner was very understanding about why i was not prepared to go straight into the buying process and let me take my time on it. I went back the next day and mike made everything super simple and didn’t pressure me into buying the car. Its rare to find a dealership like this but im happy i did
I was so nervous about my purchase. So nervous I actually was about to walk out, for I’ve never purchased a rebuilt vehicle before. But Mike took the time to show me all the information on the vehicle, its value at all different levels, even added an extra three months warranty. Also this company is making sure I leave with new tires, minor bumper repairs & even a tint to ensure my satisfaction. I feel safe and satisfied about my purchase.
