Caroline Paulson, owner of Solé Bicycles Encinitas, is a proud Encinitas local and San Diego native with a lifelong love of the ocean and outdoor living. After more than a decade in Los Angeles—where she began as a teacher and later co-founded an independent elementary school in Santa Monica—she returned home to North County. The experience of building a community-centered school continues to shape her approach to business today. Now, she’s brought the Venice Beach–born Solé Bicycles lifestyle to her hometown, where she sees bicycles as a reflection of freedom, style, and the coastal spirit that defines her roots.
