I purchased a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder from R & M Automotive Ventures LLC, located at 106 Chestnut Drive, High Point, NC 27262. Less than 24 hours after purchase, the transmission completely failed, leaving my family stranded on the side of the road. We had driven the vehicle less than 3 total hours since buying it. We live 2½ hours away and were left in an unsafe and stressful situation with no ride and no assistance. The person who sold us the vehicle, Malik, was contacted immediately. His response was “what do you think I’m supposed to do?” and he told us “that’s on you.” He clearly stated this was not his problem. No one from this business: Helped get the vehicle off the road Offered a tow Offered a ride Took responsibility Showed any concern for our safety A transmission does not fail within 24 hours unless there was a pre-existing problem. This vehicle should never have been sold in this condition. We were left walking, stranded, and unsupported. This experience was not only disappointing—it was dangerous. PLEASE—if you do not listen to anything else, DO NOT buy a vehicle from this place. And if you choose to ignore this warning and purchase anyway, PLEASE, PLEASE get a full diagnostic inspection done by an independent mechanic BEFORE you hand them any money. Buyers deserve honesty, accountability, and basic human decency. Be extremely cautious. Please I just want to help anyone I can not be in the same situation
