Purchased a 2013 Honda Civic as a 1st car for our 16yr old and it was truly a great experience. Car was priced right and ready to sell. Alex was up front about a dim display and helped us to get it replaced for way less than we would have paid elsewhere. When we came back to pick up the repair was done, the car was cleaned, check out and title transfer was easy. Everyone on the lot was polite and helpful. I highly recommend.
Tl;dr: Run, don't walk, to see Alex if you need an honest and transparent guy to sell you a new used vehicle. A few weeks ago I totaled my car, and realized I would probably have trouble securing financing for a replacement, as I have 4 payments still due on our primary vehicle, and had just started the process of refinancing the car that was now totaled (meaning technically I had 3 open auto loans on my credit report, tanking my DTI ratio on paper). I began shopping for a cash car and found an option here at Premium Motors. The day I was planning to test drive it, I noticed a newer listing on their website for an older model Camry with extremely low miles, in a color I loved, but with a price I would need to finance. I was surprisingly able to secure financing with Westlake Financial beforehand, so I headed down to the dealership. When I arrived, the sales guy was helpful and set us up for a test drive. When we returned, I knew I was going to buy the car, and sales guy sent us in to speak with his manager, Alex. Now, some backstory on me: I am a white solo mom in my mid-forties, and I hate anything that feels like conflict ALMOST as much as I hate feeling like someone is trying to get one over on me. And with the current state of the economy, every big financial decision has me on edge, desperately clinging to my hard earned dollars while Capitalism and Corporate America pry them from my fingers against my will. I was ready to haggle. And then I didn't have to. Alex was fair. He was knowledgeable. He was no sleazy used car salesman, which is what I was expecting- from past experience, and the general repuation of the trade. Alex clearly wanted to get me into a good reliable car at the best price and with the best financing. He was super transparent about any known conditions of the vehicle (it's a 2009, so no spring chicken), and offered to have the mechanics change the serpentine belt and lubricate all the pulleys before I drove it off the lot. He offered to replace the batteries in the transponder keys, and gave me great advice on different products I could use to refresh the interior of the vehicle as it had sat for a long time before they bought it, and detailing hadn't quite removed all of the old booty smell. Alex offered to run me through his finance option, explaining why he prefers it to the one I was prepred to use, and I was quickly approved at a fair rate given my weird financial situation, and with better terms than I had been preapproved for with Westlake. He gave me great advice on how to avoid fees and pay off the loan early. He talked to me in great detail about the different warranty options available and ran through probably two dozen different scenarios, calculating payments and interest and costs based on my personal goals and the distance I commute and cost of ownership and maintenance if I didn't have a warranty, based on our collective knowledge of and experience with Toyota vehicles. He stayed more than an hour past the end of his scheduled work day, just making sure I had all the information he could give me. I expected this experience to be challenging at best, and unpleasant for sure, but Alex genuinely put me at ease- not because he said I could trust him, but because he showed that I could. I love my new car, I'm more than satisfied with the financing and warranty I walked out with, and I left knowing that if I have any issues I can call Alex and he'll help me find a solution. I've already recommended Premium Motors to two of my coworkers, and I'm recommending them to you as well. If you need a good vehicle, and an experience that doesn't make you skeptical and distrustful, I URGE YOU to go see Alex at Premium Motors. I know you won't be disappointed.
