At Adventurous Autos, we believe that every journey starts with the right vehicle — and that’s why we’re here. Located in Riverside, CA, we’re a family-owned and operated dealership built on a shared love for adventure, the outdoors, and helping others hit the road with confidence. Our story began with a dream. As avid travelers and nature lovers, we’ve always found joy in exploring national forests, scenic roads, and the freedom of camping life. That passion inspired us to create a dealership that helps others do the same — whether it’s commuting to work, taking a weekend getaway, or starting their next big adventure. And so, Adventurous Autos was born. Sam, co-founder of Adventurous Autos, has been immersed in the automotive world since childhood — wrenching on cars, building and racing performance vehicles, and eventually hosting track events and coaching others through a Performance Driving School. His deep passion for cars led to owning a performance tuning shop, and later, to managing new car franchise dealerships for Mitsubishi for over 20 years. After two decades in the franchise world, Sam and his wife Rose decided to combine their experience and shared vision to create something of their own — a place where quality, affordability, and trust come together.

Sam is great! He held on to our rav4 for us till we got there. He worked really hard to get us a good deal and was transparent about the vehicles condition. We mentioned to him the car I had driven there almost didn’t make it and he insisted on hooking up a reader to it to be sure it would make it the four hour drive back home. The battery was toast so he sold us a battery for it at wholesale, it would have been double the price anywhere else and he had it hooked up for free. It’s very apparent he cares about his customers and wants to be sure they love the car they drive away with. His lobby has chocolates, coffee, water, and dash wipes for your new to you car. Those little touches were really nice. It is well worth the trip to adventurous autos to buy from him! 10/10 will be recommending him to anyone who needs a good used vehicle.
I can not say enough positive words about this man and his company! I will not go anywhere else to buy a used car! Sam, the owner, was exceptional and his financial expertise was spot on.
