  • We purchased a vehicle from this company believing we were getting a great deal. Unfortunately, we later discovered the car had multiple hidden defects and was completely misrepresented. Within just a few months, the rear tail lights began failing repeatedly. This car was bought for a teenage new driver, and she had no idea that every time she replaced a bulb, it would fail again—leaving her driving an hour each way to school on the highway without brake lights or turn signals. We kept replacing bulbs, not understanding why they kept going out. Eventually, we paid for a full inspection. That’s when we learned the likely truth: the vehicle appears to have been in a rear‑end collision, and the trunk repairs were done improperly. Water was leaking into the back of the car, causing rust, corrosion, and electrical damage that led directly to the light failures. This was especially frustrating because we were clearly told at the time of purchase that the vehicle had never been in an accident. The car’s value is now far lower than what we paid, and we’ve already spent nearly $2,500 repairing the damage—on top of the cost of all the failed lights and the very real danger my daughter was put in. The back of the car is rusted out, the trunk is dented, glue from the poor repairs is visible, and water pools in the trunk well. I contacted the dealership hoping they would take responsibility. They did nothing. They sent someone to “inspect,” only to dismiss the issue and claim the car wasn’t in an accident—despite the obvious physical evidence. They refused to help in any way. To us, this feels like misrepresentation. It feels like negligence. It feels like fraud. No 19‑year‑old working at Starbucks should have to spend four months of her income fixing problems that were hidden at the time of sale. This is in addition to the nearly $4,000 in other repairs the shop is recommending due to worn parts and error codes. I had hoped the dealership would work with us, but they left us completely in the dark. The law makes it difficult to pursue cases like this once time has passed and when the vehicle is older—and they know that. Fortunately, the amount we’ve lost falls within small‑claims limits, and we intend to pursue it. In the meantime, we want to warn others: do not trust this company. It’s not just about the cars they sell—it’s about the fact that they refuse to stand behind their products or take responsibility when something goes wrong. They will leave you on your own.
