  Had to put 3,000 dollars into it before it passed inspection… I was really skeptical to shop here based on the bad reviews but it seemed like some were positive so I took a chance. I spent 8k on a car and turned around and put 3k into it to pass inspection. There were holes in the top of the gas tank (!?!) and issues with the exhaust. Obviously none of this was disclosed and I am overall very disappointed in this experience. Take your money and your business somewhere else.

  He's a nice guy, but he definitely has a guy on the side he pays to get your car to pass. Already putting in thousands of dollars of work and I got it about three months ago. Problems starting showing immediately, the check engine light, whole thing. Exhaust is shot, power steering went. I'd go somewhere else.

  Be careful, go elsewhere...... I purchased a Subaru from Tom and Peter for around $12,000 with less than 100,000 miles a few months ago and it has turned out to be a terrible decision (total lemon). To keep it running and operable, I've had to put about $8000 into it. A big part of that number above came from the engine replacement I had to get. After some 30 days of owning it (at that time I had barely driven it), the engine seized because the oil had leaked out of it (the oil level was fine before driving). Aside from that, I've had to get wheel bearings, rotors, a new caliper, a strut assembly, and a few other things replaced. We'll see what other repairs await me...I wonder what the history was of this vehicle that they were not sharing. Small things were missing - sun visors on both sides, small knobs here and there, floor mats, and there was only one key. They are also very hard to reach. You'll have to call 5+ times to get a hold of them. Save yourself all the stress and go somewhere else
