  • David was fantastic and answered any questions I had. I’d never bought an engine before let alone swap one. My JDM R18A1 engine was perfect! It fired right up and has been so smooth! I am glad I did my research as many places seemed questionable. JDM of California did not give me those vibes at all. I hope I get to do more engine swaps so I can use JDM of California again! This is the legit place to buy from!

But after dealing with JDM of California, I can honestly say the experience was top-notch. The customer service was outstanding... easily some of the best I’ve seen in years. They went above and beyond, kept communication solid, and made the whole process smooth. When I showed up, the crew did a compression test on the engine right in front of me, washed it down, loaded it up, and made sure everything was good to go. You can tell they take pride in what they do. The owner, David runs a great operation... A+ all around. If you’re on the fence about where to buy a JDM engine, I’d definitely recommend these guys.
