  • I had my first positive experience buying a car, thanks to Steve at First National Autos on Aurora Avenue in Seattle. It was a friendly, low pressure environment, and Steve was really patient as I had the car checked out by my own mechanic and it took a while. There were some issues as it’s an older car, and they dropped the price and even agreed to get the parts needed for repair for me at cost. I had a pre approval for a loan but they found a better deal for me! I will say it helps to go in with excellent credit, a realistic sense of what to expect when you are buying an older car, and to have your own mechanic do a thorough check for you. At no point did I think I was being scammed, pressured, patronized or misled. I highly recommend Steve in particular; he’s a good guy and will do the best he can for you. I was impressed with the efficiency and organization of the whole team. I would especially recommend this place to women or anyone really who has had bad experiences buying cats in the past.
