  It hurts not to be able to give this place 10 stars. Listen, are there bad experiences with dealerships and used cars? SURE. But honestly, used cars arent new. Do your research. Check them out. Do research on certain tendencies certain cars have. Some are prone to mechanical issues, others, timing belts, fuel pumps, Etc. Find out before you blame a dealer for issues a car is likely already coming with, regardless who sells it to you. Texas Discount is extremely transparent. They will happily let you bring a mechanic or have a mobile mechanic do a pre-purchase inspection. Check the Vin or check their site to see if they offer it. Where dealers try to hide faults in cars, at least they let you see it as much as you can inspect any car. I ended buying from them out of state and Specifically Vivian there was Phenomenal. Great communication, easy to get ahold of and very prompt call backs if busy. So much patience with my issues with freight transportation and even making personal adjustments to help me out. If you have needs of a used car, definitely check them out. They try their best to do right by you. Thanks for everything!

  I had a very good experience with the staff at Texas Discounted Motor Vehicles. They were very helpful and thoroughly explained everything to me.   First let me say, no one "did" anything to me at this dealership- I didn't get screwed around on a deal, I didn't get oversold, or treated like an idiot. I'll just tell you how it went. I went to look at one specific vehicle that I researched online. Their price was fair, and I thought I'd drive 60 miles to look at it. I was acknowledged when I walked in. I checked some texts, sent a few, got some water, drank it. They were busy with customers, so I waited. After about ten minutes, I figured I'd go look at the car. It was old (I knew that, obviously)- but what struck me was the condition of the interior; it showed every sign that it was the same as the day it was parked, i.e. wrecked after years of use. There was a chunk missing from the center console, rips in the seats, and a dankness to the whole cab. seriously- 45 minutes of detailing would've changed the whole feel of this used car- but they are clearly an "as is" dealer- take it or leave it how WE found it, pal. I left with the impression that they believe that customers need them more than they need us. Oh God- this isn't one of those places that's going to read this and REPLY, is it??? No, please, it's okay, just take the W- you won, I lost, I admit it!!
