Do not buy from this dishonest dealer. These are the kind of guys who give used car dealers their bad reputation. I’ll start with the last straw. After many hours and various delays (paperwork, etc.) we got to the signing part. After signing the mountain of paperwork it takes to buy a car, they gave us one last form to sign. That was the form where they disclosed “frame damage”. FRAME DAMAGE! We were buying a used Tesla Model Y which has an integral frame with the EV battery pack. Frame damage is a huge deal in Tesla’s and is very expensive to repair. They knew it, and they tried to slip the disclosure by us on the very last signature page. They had no explanation for why they had not told us sooner in the process. They were really hoping that we would not notice. We refused to sign and walked out. Before that, there were the price games on the car we were trading in. They gave us a price on a handwritten piece of paper but when the formal paperwork came back they had lowered the trade-in price and got one of our names wrong. Their price explanation was marginally acceptable so we went with it, but we noticed that they had added the cost for GAP insurance. We did not want or need GAP insurance so we told them to take it out. The next set of paperwork came back without the GAP, but with the trade-in value lowered by exactly the amount they were going to charge for GAP insurance. We sent it back for the third time. That is when we got the “frame damage” paper. They use a two-person approach. The nice guy is the front guy but he has to keep going back and consulting with the sleazy dishonest guy who comes out with all the confusing and conflicting stories. Be warned! We now have our car, but not from them.
This dealership isn’t what I expected at all! I am not a big fan of leaving bad reviews for businesses but I totally have to say my mind on this dealership, and their management team. Approximately two months ago, I brought a vehicle from them. I signed dozens of documents as required in dealership transactions. No fuss, no complaints, mint credit. However, about a week after buying the vehicle, I discovered that the tires are bad (for a new vehicle.) I noticed the tire issue during the test drive. The salesman used their shop inflatable to fill the air up and assured me that the tire is good. After about a week, I kept experiencing the same issue. I called and they told me that the dude that sold the car for me is no longer with them. I reached out to his manager who assured me during the day I brought the car that he will handle any issue that arise after I dive off their lot. The manager, Leo is a sweet talker and less do-er (bad sales management technique.) I reached out to Leo, booked an appointment with the for their mechanics to assess the tired. I never heard back from any of them. I placed a call and spoke to Leo, he promised to call me back. I never heard back. To say that I am disappointed in this whole process would be an understatement. I have plans to write a Letter of complaint to the US Business Bureau and Consumer Protection Agency before I rest my case on this bad business practice matter. I am sure that I am not the first, and will not be the last experiencing this with Zag Motors. But I will for sure be the one to take action by using all the right channels to register my complaint with this dealership.
The best car-buying experience I’ve ever had. Huge shout out to Tristan and Leo at Zag Motors for their outstanding customer service! They were efficient, helpful, and got me behind the wheels of dream with zero hassle. I'm ecstatic. They did a great job. Thumbs up to you guys. 🙏🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
