  • Stay away from 45 Wireless. I almost never leave negative reviews, but I feel people should know about my experience. I had my iPhone screen replaced there, and as soon as I walked outside and put on my polarized sunglasses, I realized I could barely see the display. I work outdoors about 50 hours a week, so being able to see my phone while wearing sunglasses is essential. I want to make it clear that I have no experience with cell phone repairs and had no idea there were different types of replacement screens. I didn’t know the difference between LCD and OLED, and I didn’t know that choosing one over the other could affect visibility with polarized sunglasses. When I went back inside to explain the problem, no one explained why it was happening or offered me the option of upgrading to a different screen. Had that been explained to me, I would have gladly paid the difference for an OLED screen. Instead, I was left thinking there was simply no solution. After losing $100, I went to another repair shop, where the technician took the time to educate me on the difference between LCD and OLED screens and explained exactly why I was having the issue. While inspecting my phone, he also discovered that 45 Wireless had failed to reinstall the two bottom screws that secure the screen. He showed me how easily the screen could have come loose because of that oversight. Between not being informed about my options, receiving no meaningful customer service when I returned with a problem just minutes later, and the phone being reassembled incorrectly, I cannot recommend this business.
