  This has got to be one of the best furniture stores I've ever stepped foot in. The staff was incredibly helpful, going over every color available and what they could get in stock. I knew I would return the next day to make a purchase. The couch is super soft and huge, perfect for a family of four. The delivery was quick and professional; they ensured nothing was damaged while bringing it into the house and placed it exactly where I wanted it. From the time of purchase, I only had to wait 30-40 minutes before delivery. The owner even provided me with a rug due to a misunderstanding, which I love. I will definitely be returning—the service is excellent.

  I absolutely love this place. Great customer service, honest sales, not trying to get all your money but instead works with your budget and provide quality furniture, and very Professional.   I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing from Home Furnishings at 6527 Duck Creek Dr., Garland TX. My experience was extremely disappointing and stressful. On March 22, 2026, I purchased a floor-model vanity after being told there were no additional units in stock. While the vanity itself appeared beautiful in the store, the service that followed was completely unacceptable. Shortly after leaving, the salesperson, Mike, repeatedly called me while I was driving and on another important call. When I finally answered, he informed me—without any prior scheduling—that a delivery person would arrive at my home in 30 minutes. This was never discussed or agreed upon during the purchase. When the delivery person arrived, he came alone with a very large, heavy vanity that clearly required more than one person to assemble. I was then unexpectedly asked to assist with lifting and assembling the furniture, including aligning a heavy mirror and installing screws—tasks I was neither prepared for nor physically able to do. This should never be expected of a customer. The delivery person struggled to assemble the unit and even called others for help while in my home. At one point, I was asked to push night stands to align with a heavy mirror and assist further. I declined and requested a refund due to the unsafe and unprofessional situation. Eventually, Mike arrived with another individual. Instead of being understanding, he had an attitude and appeared frustrated that I could not assist with the assembly. Once they arrived, they completed the setup quickly—confirming that proper staffing should have been arranged from the start. The entire experience left me feeling uncomfortable and dissatisfied. The lack of communication, unprofessional delivery process, and poor customer service after the sale completely changed how I feel about the purchase. If I had known they would send only one delivery person and expect me to help assemble heavy furniture, I would have never made this purchase.
