  • I’ve had two experiences buying vehicles from Valley Auto Center on Sierra Highway. One was with my own car purchase, and the other was when my mother separately bought a car from them. Let’s start with my own experience. I purchased a vehicle from Valley Auto Center, and the very next day the check engine light came on. They sent me to their mechanic, who kept my car for two months. They supposedly used my warranty to install a whole new transmission, a new exhaust manifold, and a new twin turbo. Despite this, I’ve had to go back to that mechanic at least seven times, if not more, each time leaving my car for anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of weeks. I’ve owned this car for a year now, and it still has all the same problems, if not more. I even have my own code reader, and the same codes are popping up now as when I first bought the vehicle, even a year later. It’s unreliable and downright dangerous to drive. Their so-called “solution” was to tell me I could trade it in, saying, “All you’d have to do is pay the Kelley Blue Book difference,” as if they were doing me a favor. That offer alone felt disrespectful, and throughout this process, they’ve spoken to me like I’m some dumb girl who doesn’t know any better. The owner of the dealership himself even lied to me, claiming that only new cars can be lemons, not used cars. Regardless of whether my car legally qualifies as a lemon, that statement is simply untrue and completely uncalled for. On top of all this, when I brought the car home, I discovered it was filthy in the back seat. There was old food and French fries in the cup holders and in the seat crevices. When I took it for a test drive, they must have cleared the computer codes, because nothing popped up at the time. But the very next day, the car showed it was thousands of miles overdue for service, and the check engine light came on along with other warning lights. Now, about my mother’s car. My mother also bought a vehicle from Valley Center. Just like me, the very next day her car started having issues, including the check engine light coming on within only driving it 3 times. Since it wasn’t my car, I don’t know every detail, but I do know that a piece of her car was cracked, and it literally snapped when she made a turn, putting her vehicle in the shop, which was a different shop than the one I was sent to. In addition, the front windshield was lifting up because it had been newly replaced before she had bought it, but the glue or sealant hadn’t dried properly or was poorly done. When she drove in the wind, it felt like the glass might bend or break. She had to take it back to the dealership more than once to get that fixed. While helping her look for something under her seat, I noticed a bunch of broken window glass. There’s no mention of this vehicle being in an accident on the Carfax, but it certainly seems like it was involved in a collision. My mother also mentioned that her car was filthy inside when she bought it and hadn’t been cleaned at all. That was maybe a year and a half ago, or possibly less, and she’s already in a different vehicle she bought from another dealership.

  • Very knowledgeable. Very helpful. Very informative. When it comes to used cars - this is the only place you need to go for a good car at a reasonable price that WONT rip you off.

  • Customer service is very good here had all our questions answered and any details we wanted fixed on the car we’re buying were fixed
