I purchased a 2019 Chevrolet Express 2500 from Miami Truck Center on August 28, 2025. At the time of sale, I was assured that the vehicle was in good mechanical condition and had been properly inspected. Based on those representations, I trusted the dealership and did not negotiate the price. About three weeks later, when picking up the registration, concerns about the transmission were raised. We were again assured that the vehicle had been checked with diagnostic equipment and that there were no transmission issues. Despite this, the transmission failed completely after only about six weeks of very light use. Since purchasing the vehicle, I have spent over $6,000 on necessary repairs, was forced to take out a loan to replace the transmission, and am now facing additional engine repairs. This has caused significant financial hardship for my family. Although the vehicle was sold AS-IS, I believe the repeated assurances about its mechanical condition—especially after concerns were raised—were misleading. I attempted to resolve this matter directly with the dealership in good faith, but the assistance offered was not sufficient. I am sharing my experience so other consumers can make an informed decision before purchasing from this dealership.
