Preferred hands down the best in this business their honesty, and the love for their business is incredible. Yes they sale used cars and anything could happen like wise with new cars. But the best is they work with you, and will not leave stranded and make sure you get in good wheels. Even if they’re losing on a deal. Preferred can’t thank you guys enough for your great ethics, service. Will always be back here at Preferred
We purchased a Honda Civic from Preferred Automotive out of Parkland and immediately took it for an oil change—only to discover it had a major oil leak. We contacted the dealership right away, but before anything could be resolved, the car broke down on the freeway. I worked with Eli, who was kind and tried to help, and I appreciated his professionalism. Unfortunately, another staff member was extremely aggressive and threatening over text, using profanity and intimidation tactics that were completely unacceptable. The dealership did take the Civic back and traded us a Mazda 3 instead. Within days , the thermostat failed. Two cars, two serious issues, all within days of purchase.
I didn't have a good experience with these guys. I called about a 2011 Audi S5 Quattro Prestige and immediately got attitude from the person on the phone. Still, I went to test drive the car and found it had a check engine light on. The car was listed for $4,900 and the out-the-door price was about $6,000. When I asked what was wrong, they admitted it was a timing belt issue. One salesman tried to gaslight me, saying if I repaired it, the price would magically jump to $8,000. He claimed the car was losing equity because he allegedly invested more money into detailing it and shipping it from Seattle to Tacoma than actually fixing the issue. Another salesman even claimed he had been driving it all day with the sunroof down and everything, and that it was fine, but I would need to resolve the timing belt issue within six months to a year. This is complete nonsense. Who would buy a car with a timing belt problem? He also claimed he had a “guy in Linwood” who could fix it cheap yet he refuses to fix it himself before selling. On top of that, they do not offer in-house financing, which is a waste of time because you have to get approval from some unheard-of lender they use. This is a classic scam tactic. To make things worse, I overheard other salespeople going back & fourth with customers over an Acura TL, unable to agree on a price. These guys are selling lemons and attempting to get over customers.
