  • Staff at Preferred Motors were a joy to work with, and I got an excellent deal on my vehicle. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and appreciated how friendly and easy the buying process was. However, I did have one issue that left a bad impression. When I test drove the vehicle and left a deposit two days before finalizing the purchase, all four tires were fine. But when I arrived to pick up the vehicle after it had been moved between their two lots, there was suddenly a screw in one of the tires. The suggested solution was for me to drive it up the road and pay out of pocket to have it repaired myself. I was in a tough position because I needed to drive the vehicle home after riding the bus 3 hours to pick it up, so I went and had the tire fixed. While I understand accidents happen, I felt the dealership should have taken responsibility for the repair rather than passing the cost onto the customer immediately after purchase. Aside from that experience, the staff were great and the vehicle itself has been excellent so far.

  • I highly recommend this dealership. I found a car listed online and it happened to be at Preferred Auto. I didn't catch the salesperson's name but I felt he was honest and fair. The experience was very "chill" and devoid of any pressure or dealership "games". He was very friendly and efficient, and let me take it to my mechanic for an inspection without any issue. My mechanic thought it was in great shape, so I bought it. I also feel I got a very good price and trade-in allowance.
