Insanely quick, asked me all the right questions to diagnose what was needed to be done and did it in less than ten minutes. Prices were the most competitive as far as vegas goes. Thank you Luis!
The only repair spot in Vegas I take my phones to , great customer service and prices.
I had a poor experience buying a used phone from LV Cellfix. I saw an ad on Facebook Marketplace for a used cellphone and went in to LV Cellfix to purchase it. They do not accept credit cards, only cash, which I now realize is a major red flag. I purchased the phone and brought it home, only to realize that it had major issues and could not be used with any wireless carrier. I brought the phone back to LV Cellfix to be informed that "all sales are final" and they do not offer refunds, but will exchange the phone for another used phone. Given that I felt that I had no other options, I exchanged the phone for another model, paying more money on top for the second phone, which was a model that I was less enthusiastic about than the first. When I got home with that phone, I found that it was not unlocked as advertised but was locked to carrier. I returned to LV Cellfix again and attempted to get help, but the guy working there said that he could not unlock the phone, nor would offer a refund. Instead, he offered me more exchanges, pulling out other phones that were priced even higher and also seemed to have issues. I declined this attempt at a resolution, and the employee said he would take my phone number down and call me by the end of the week with a resolution. He never called. The next week, on my own initiative, I brought the phone in to the other location of LV Cellfix. I had been dealing with a location at a kiosk in a supermarket, and this time I went in to the main location, at Eastern and Sahara. The employee there was more helpful and offered to unlock the locked phone, which he did in 24 hours at no charge. I am giving this business a 2/5 because they are not completely crooked, ie they did eventually solve the issue, but I would not recommend ever dealing with them as far as phone sales. This is due to the fact that they are selling a lot of phones in questionable condition, they do not thoroughly test the phones, and they have a deceptive sales policy, only revealing that "all sales are final" after you have paid, in essence not disclosing that you are buying their phones "as-is." The younger employee at the kiosk location was completely clueless and had zero customer service skills, whereas the middle aged gentleman at the Eastern and Sahara location was professional and more helpful. At the end of the day, I do have a working phone, but I feel that I overpaid, I ended up with a model of phone that I don't really want, and I had to make a total of five visits to two different locations over the course of several weeks before I was even able to get to this point.
