  • I had a great experience with Bright Star Motors and I’d especially like to shout out Bernard who helped me throughout the whole process. I had an idea of what I needed in mind, he narrowed down a great choice, helped me through the test drive, figuring out the little features of the car, knowledgeable and also just a funny, good humored guy. Jim with the financial guys have been great as well in making sure things go as smoothly as possible for my needs and budget. It’s my first time buying a car, so I really appreciate these guys for helping to make it as stress free as possible.

  • Stopped by to look at a vehicle and liked what I saw. The vehicle was clean and seemed to be in good running order. I asked to take the vehicle for a test driver and Jim took a picture of my ID and we got in the car. I asked Jim if he had to go and he said yeah, its our police. Fine... I then asked if he was the only one on site and he said "yes." Not sure what kind of business leaves everything open and unlocked when they leave but again Fine... Upon return Jim and I went into the office where he provided a CarFax for me to review while I thought about it. A few weeks passed and I stopped back by to see if there was any wiggle room with the price as everything is sold as is and they do not offer a warranty. Jim again told me no that is the price. I thought that it was a bit odd that the lot did not have wiggle room give or take $100. As I was there talking with him a couple pulled up, got our of one of the cars for sale, walk up to Jim, hand him the keys, then say "thank you for letting us take the vehicle out for a drive," and get in their personal vehicle and leave. Hmmmmm..... I left right after thinking that it is funny Bright Star will not let me take the vehicle on a short test drive but will allow someone else to do so, and there was even someone else working so that made no since... About 4 days passed and I decided that the car was something that I really wanted and was willing to pay the asking price, but I wanted to drive it again alone to just drive comfortably. My family and I went up to the lot so my wife could drive our car home. When I got there I asked to test drive the vehicle. They had to jump start a vehicle to get it out of the way and whatnot. Once the car I intended to drive was available to drive, I asked if I could drive it by myself. I was told no it is against our policy. At that point I said "FINE I'm out!" As I returned to my vehicle, my wife could clearly see that I was irritated and I explained to her what had just happened, then asked another person that worked there to come talk to me. I was frustrated and the gentlemen listened to why I was frustrated, but reiterated that they have to have someone be in the vehicle for the test drive. I did explain to him that is NOT true as I saw with my own eyes 4 days prior that there was people test driving without an employee. He proceeded to say "well I was not here so I don't know." Anyways, I am deeply disappointed with the result of this "dealership" because all I wanted to do was buy this stupid car that has been on their lot for about 6 months. It really seemed like they could care less about selling cars. The take it or leave it attitude never makes someone feel good about spending thousands of dollars as it leaves the consumer feeling like they are not worth the employees time. Busted up lot, bad customer service, no negotiation, Oh well attitude

  • 5 stars for Bright Star Motors! The staff was patient, respectful, and made sure I found the right vehicle for my needs. They answered all my questions and made the paperwork process quick and easy. No hidden fees. I really appreciated their transparency and professionalism. If you’re buying a car, this is the place to go!
