  • Executive Motors Sacramento did an excellent job with the software update for my 2024 VinFast VF8 Plus last week. I dropped off my car at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, and it was ready for pickup by Thursday afternoon. Tish was very professional, both over the phone and in person, providing helpful information about their authorized VinFast service experience. She also informed me that RepairWise would handle all communication regarding the software update while my vehicle was at the shop. Godwin from RepairWise was very responsive and kept me informed throughout the entire process. He addressed my concerns regarding the shop's experience with VinFast EVs, reassuring me that Executive Motors—in collaboration with RepairWise and VinFast—would ensure the latest firmware update was handled correctly and resolve the issue with the adjustable steering wheel. I have been driving the car for the past three days, and the new firmware (FRS 8A.3.12.1) has been performing smoothly. In particular, the ADAS now allows for a more seamless driving experience without frequent prompts to touch the steering wheel. Additionally, the steering wheel position is now fully adjustable. The only remaining issue is that Alexa voice commands are still failing to open or close the sunroof and sunshade. Communication from VinFast service via phone and email was also prompt. I was able to arrange my car rental and rideshare quickly while my vehicle was in the shop. I secured an EV rental (IONIQ 5) for half of the $90/day limit covered by VinFast. VinFast also offered two rideshares per day (up to $25 each), though I only needed to use the service once. While RepairWise estimated the update could take between two and five days, the work was completed in just two. Overall, I am very happy with the experience provided by RepairWise, VinFast, and Executive Motors.

  • !!!BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!! Booked a flight from Orange County to Sacramento to purchase a car from this dealer and left a $1,000 non-refundable deposit. When I arrived and started test driving the car, the check engine light came on. They took the car back to the service department, but when I asked what code came up, they refused to tell me and simply cleared the code, which already felt shady. On the second test drive, another warning popped up saying “Battery Charging Malfunction.” A few minutes later, the car went into limp mode, wouldn’t rev past 1500 RPM, and then showed an engine overheating warning. We barely made it back to the dealership. At that point, I popped the hood myself and immediately noticed the main pulley was damaged — the rubber was separating and the pulley was cracked apart. Supposedly, this car had already passed their “full inspection,” but somehow they completely missed a major issue that left the car undriveable. What’s even crazier is they were apparently okay with letting this car leave the lot and expecting me to drive it 7–8 hours back to Southern California in that condition. What made the situation even worse was the customer service afterward. They only refunded my deposit and offered zero help beyond that — no assistance with my wasted travel expenses, no Uber back to the airport, and nothing toward the last-minute flight I had to book home after wasting an entire day traveling. Very disappointing experience overall. Their “state of the art full inspection” clearly doesn’t mean much, and the way they handled the situation showed very little accountability or customer care. I’d highly recommend checking out their Yelp reviews as well — especially the 1-star reviews — before doing business with them.

  • Eli Is the guy!!! Excellent kind and very helpful answering all my many questions. His responses were very articulate in explaining everything with no hassle. Upfront with the costs. I felt like he went above and beyond helping me by being understanding with a minor issue the following day, made sure I was taken care of and satisfied with my new purchase. Even helped me with referrals for tint services. I felt comfortable knowing they have a full auto service center at the location for all my car serving needs in the future. Rob, service manager was very understanding & helpful in making sure the trunk was functioning properly. Overall would definitely recommend this car dealer if your looking for a great used luxury vehicle especially.
