I was ready to buy a vehicle here with cash in hand, but the experience was incredibly frustrating. They have a strict policy where they don’t allow test drives outside of their parking lot. We are right off I-10 and Wilcrest—you cannot possibly confirm a car is in good shape by doing 5 mph in a crowded parking lot. You need to feel how it shifts and handles at speed. To make matters worse, their asking price didn't match the actual value of the vehicle, and since I couldn't even properly test it, there was no way I was going to overpay. If you have cash and want a transparent deal, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. They lost a guaranteed sale today because of a ridiculous test drive rule.
SCAM ALERT: Do not waste your time and money with these liars! I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this dealership. They are selling a hybrid Toyota RAV4 listed as a "Clean Title." When my wife and I arrived, they kept assuring us the car was in excellent, perfect condition. However, they wouldn't let me inspect the car properly. Every 5 minutes, someone would run out to interrupt and disturb us while I was trying to use my diagnostic scanner. We had to take the car for a test drive and park nearby just to finally get a quiet, uninterrupted scan. The results were shocking: 25 active error codes found in the system. The hybrid battery is completely dead and in terrible condition. They cleared all codes right before we arrived. My professional-grade scanner showed that the error codes were cleared exactly 15 miles ago. They intentionally wiped the dashboard lights (Check Engine, etc.) to hide the massive issues and trick buyers. Their excuse was that the errors appeared because they "just replaced the battery"—a complete, obvious lie. To top it all off, I pulled the Carfax report right there. It turns out this vehicle is a TOTAL LOSS. It is physically impossible for this car to have a Clean Title. It is 100% fraud. When you catch them red-handed with clear proof of their lies, they immediately start acting offended, playing the victim, and claiming you are insulting them by not trusting their words. This place is a complete scam. They lie about the vehicle history, hide major defects, and manipulate customers. I am attaching a screenshot of the Carfax report to prove every word. Do not step foot in this dealership unless you want to get ripped off!
When I first arrived, the customer service was great, and the owner was even willing to stay later in the evening so my parents could come look at the car with me since I had to work until closing time. I appreciated that and initially had a good impression. However, things quickly became questionable. I first looked at one car, and while it seemed okay, my mom wanted to keep looking. As we looked around, the owner claimed certain cars were “not available,” which we understood. Then we came across a white Toyota Corolla I had already seen listed online. When we asked about it, he told us it was $16,000 and repeatedly said he didn’t want to show it to us because we “couldn’t afford the price.” While standing there, I checked their online inventory and found the exact same Corolla (same VIN) listed for $12,499. When I showed him, he suddenly changed his story and claimed it was sold — even though just moments earlier he had said he would sell it for $16,000. This experience felt very shady and dishonest. It seemed like the owner chooses which cars he wants to sell depending on the customer and changes pricing/stories on the spot. I would recommend being very cautious and double-checking everything before doing business here.
