  • I am currently writing this from the waiting room, where I've been waiting for 45 minutes to talk to someone. I just bought this 2017 Kia Soul+ last Friday, the Carfax showed recalls so I took it to the Kia dealership on the 2nd. That morning the check engine light comes on..... At around 200 miles.... meaning it's coming back on from the battery being disconnected. Good thing I'm going to the Kia dealership, got a full inspection. The CCV is seized and needs a fuel filter, there's a missing lug nut on each tire (Double checked the insurance pictures I sent for my new policy while waiting for the rest of the paperwork and sure enough, each tire is missing one, wtaf?), recommended normal and expected brakes and tires, and my air conditioner had no Freon. I just bought this car because mine finally took a dump, now this car has been just a wonderful experience. When it's all fixed it'll be a good car, but this has absolutely destroyed any faith I have in this place. I'm still waiting, now it's over an hour, hoping they will address the CCV, Fuel filter, and lug nuts without a fight, but at this point it wouldn't surprise me. I'll update this once everything is said and done, not sure how they could turn me into a customer when I buy my real car and give this one to the kids. Ok. So it's 7/10 now and I have my car back. Albert and Steve have made it very clear that this was not an acceptable situation that unfolded and they made it right. On top of that they're going to make sure communication is better so it doesn't happen again. For that I upgraded my rating, I still think the back wall couch needs to be thrown away lol.
