  • German Auto AZ is top-tier. I am blessed I was introduced to them and took my BMW to them for service. Slaven and his team are absolute pros. They installed a downpipe, chargepipe, spark plugs, a bunch of other mods and handled all of the fluid changes (transmission fluid change on this car is a bit more special than on others), and helped me get the car properly tuned—everything done right, no shortcuts, no BS. Communication was clear, work was clean, and they actually take the time to explain what they’re doing and why. You can tell they genuinely care about the car and the outcome, not just rushing jobs out the door. The car runs faster, smoother, and exactly how it should. Added 80whp to my ride! If you want quality work, honesty, and people who actually know German cars, this is the shop. Highly recommend Slaven and his entire crew. Thank you guys I will be back to make it even faster!!

  • Dishonest and shady. Bought a higher mileage A3 TDI from here. Car had come with a glow plug and nOx sensor code. They cleared these to hide the issue before sale as it appeared shortly after purchase and would come back after clearing and driving some miles on it. Along with this the heater never worked, assuming the heater core is clogged. I mentioned these issues to the owner and they only replaced the nOx sensor, they said the glow plug light wasn't there after it literally appeared when I left after the nOx sensor was replaced. They just straight up ignored what I said about the heater core. During the time it was at their dealer for said nOx sensor, the employees had basically joyridden it as an errands car, quite literally leaving a Arrowhead Cadillac water bottle in the car as proof. So about the repairs, replacing the nOx did nothing, code is still there. I ended up telling the owner to just give me a glow plug and id swap it myself so they wouldn't joyride the car again. Replaced that, code still appears. Basically stopped even bothering with contacting the dealer as it seemed pointless. During purchase asked if recent maintenance was done. Things like the timing belt, DSG service, and so on. Nothing was done despite the owner saying it was. I personally wouldn't have purchased said vehicle if I was told these things beforehand. Sadly this is one of the few dealers in AZ to grab a TDI nowdays, so if you choose to purchase from this place make sure to ask for proof on all recent services. Its currently about 6 months from when I purchased the car. nOx code still there Glow plug codes still there And now has a clogged dpf despite me putting 1k highway miles weekly on it. Have the heater core and need to replace it shortly here. As a fellow buisness person and shop owner I would be embarrassed to flip cars this way.

  • This is going to be a lengthy read, but it is worth reading in full! Slaven was very helpful in the beginning stages of getting ready to buy a car. We did things the way we felt comfortable with and there was no pressure to buy anything. Additionally, he did not try to have us test drive something we did not want at any point (other dealers will do this every time). We worked out a great deal with him that both myself and my fiancé were happy with. He said that if we had any issues, we should just bring the car back and he would resolve them. We didn't realize how valuable this was until two days later when the diesel system started having some issues. We troubleshot the problem together and he put hours into it before he called for backup from VW directly. They were able to find some issues with the computer system and some sensors that needed to be replaced, and ever since then, it has been behaving wonderfully! We also had him do some brake work recently, and he beat the closest competition by about $100. The motor mounts came up next, and he beat the next closest by more than 50% off the price with reputable OEM quality parts. He's been a great help all along the way, and we are getting ready to make our second purchase here very soon because of how above and beyond he truly goes for his customers. No matter how frustrating it can be to get to a resolution, we just have a laugh and it gets fixed. This is now our permanent German vehicle purchase and service location. No question. Stop by, and Slaven will be happy to help you find your next German gem.
