  • “Positive Initial Contact, But Misleading Discount Expectations and No Follow-Up” I initially had a very positive experience communicating with Carros & Trucks. The team was responsive and helpful in providing details about a 2014 Lexus ES 300h. I was specifically encouraged to come test drive that vehicle and was told discounts were being offered, which influenced my decision to visit — especially since it was the last day of the month. After test driving, I attempted to negotiate and made a $12,500 offer, explaining I was ready to purchase with cash or dealer financing that day. The only price presented was the full listing price of $14,490, and no discount or counteroffer was provided. When I asked about the discounts that were mentioned before my visit, no clarification was given. I was told management would review my offer and follow up the next morning. As a serious buyer, I paused my search expecting active negotiations. No follow-up occurred. I was contacted six days later and simply told my offer was too low. This experience reflected inconsistent follow-up, unclear negotiation authority, and expectations that did not match what was communicated before my visit. I hope management reviews these communication and process issues for future customers.

  • We were really disappointed with our experience. The salesperson talked over us and seemed impatient, while the office, which claimed to be open 7 days a week, was actually closed when we called. He rushed us over the phone to get information and overall, the experience did not match the positive reviews we saw. On top of that, he was asking for more than 25% down for a $12k truck, which felt unreasonable. Definitely not what we expected, and not good business.
